We hope that everyone is surviving the intense heat that we've been experiencing. While our air conditioners are running overtime, the intense heat has resulted in garden crops blooming much earlier this year. I can't remember ever being able to eat ripe tomatoes so early in the season. .

Anyone watch Wimbledon and the longest game ever? The Red Sox have the had worst luck with respect to injuries, and somehow remain in the hunt. Spain beat the Dutch in overtime in the World Cup. And the Tour d' France is heading to the mountains.

We've had many 'declared' couple relationships in the past month. It's so nice to receive letters from members when they connect with someone. Kepp those letters coming. For those exploring relationships, when you're selected and aren't quite sure; say Yes. You're only agreeing to talk on the phone and perhaps meet for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Like going to your favorite ice cream stand in the summer, experiement with different flavors of ice cream rather than ordering the same flavor time after time. You might surprise yourself. In dating, when selected by someone who typically doesn't fit 'your type', perhaps its time to experiment and say yes. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Go out of your 'comfort' zone.

AND for pete's sake, when selected by another member, PLEASE RESPOND in a timely manner.

AND once you do respond yes, FOLLOW UP with a phone call. Nothing drives someone more crazy than being selected, having them say yes, and then you don't follow up with them.
